Margate back charity auction

RYMAN Premier club Margate have appealed for donations of football memorabilia for an auction they are supporting in aid of local charity Thanet Community Networks (TCN).
Lynne Sutton, project co-ordinator for TCN, said: "We’re really pleased to be working with Margate Football Club on this initiative. The club has provided tremendous support in helping us get the auction off the ground and in hosting the announcements of the winning bids on 9th April."
The football club's chief executive Cliff Egan said: "The club is delighted to be able to support such a worthy cause. We share the same challenges as TCN in working with the voluntary, public and private sectors through our Community Programme and this is a great opportunity for us to support important local community work."
Anyone who would like to donate and item or items for the auction is asked to contact Lynne Sutton on 01843 609686 or lynne@thanetcommunitynetworks.org.uk.
When the auction opens, bids can be submitted by email until 5pm Thursday 5th April, directly to TCN until close of business on Thursday 5th April or at Margate Football Club – either the club shop or five-a-side reception - until 4pm on Monday 9th April.
All bids should clearly state your name, address, contact telephone number and email address and you must be 16 years or older to place a bid.
Bidders will be able to keep track of the latest bids by looking at the dedicated webpage on the official Margate website at www.margate-fc.com.
